Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

A modality that has been in practice for thousands of years, Acupuncture is a minimally invasive approach to pain and health management. Treating the body as a whole, acupuncture helps balance the flow of energy or life force, known as “qi” (pronouced “chi”). The practitioner inserts very thin, sterile disposable needles through the skin superficially into specific points on the body. These points help the qi encourage the body to restore balance.

Conditions that Acupuncture Can Treat:

  • Dental pain

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Headaches, including tension headaches and migraines

  • Labor pain

  • Lower back pain
